I’ve really been enjoying being back on the road bike, especially the weekly Wednesday night TBE rides. We’ve ended up with a really great group of folks who come out regularly for this one. This has been a much more enjoyable shop ride than the Princeton Sports ride I did last year. We usually end up striking a good blend of social chatter and riding hard. We averaged better than 19mph last night despite kinda goofing off some. The Princeton ride was always about just getting out and hammering with little Regard for just riding with your buds and having fun. Maybe this ride being so enjoyable directly relates to most of us being mountain bikers as well as roadies Of course the fact that I was hit by a car on the Princeton Sports route earlier this year may slightly impact my point of view as well
